As a writer his published works include Walter Cronkite is Dead, In the Absence of Spring, and Shakespeare’s R&J. He is a Drama League Directing Fellow, sits on the Executive Board of the directors union SDC, and is co-artistic director of Breaking Bread Theatre. JAY HILTON (Sound Design) is proud to continue his long association with Goodspeed and wishes to congratulate the entire organization on its 50th Anniversary season. Jay has been the resident sound designer for many years and has designed countless productions at both the Goodspeed Opera House and Goodspeed’s Norma Terris Theatre in Chester. Jay received the Broadway World Connecticut Award for Best Sound Design in 2012 for last season’s Carousel. His work has also been heard on Broadway, National Tours, and at regional theatres from coast to coast. Along with his design duties Jay serves as the Lighting & Sound Supervisor. He and his wife, Goodspeed Line Producer Donna Lynn Hilton, make their home (and garden) in Hadlyme.
